If there is one series from Ubisoft that has always delivered and doesn't cause shivers ''because Ubisoft'' , it has to be Anno.

I think almost everyone can agree Anno 1800 was an absolute gem of a game and to this day people still love it, play it and build tons of mods for it.

Recently the successor was announced: Anno 117 - Pax Romana.

Announcement Trailer

What we know so far
  • Setting: ancient Rome in the year 117 AD.
  • Keeps the classic blend of economic growth, military expansion and cultural unification
  • They spoke about managing lesser-known provinces such as Latium and Albion (replacing the old world - new world system from Anno 1800?)
  • Keen eyes have spotted diagonal roads for the first time in an Anno game - Very excited about this one
  • Release set somewhere 2025
As a huge Anno 1404 and 1800 fan I am extremely excited for this one.
